DoseTracker Terms and Use Information

Last updated: October 3, 2026. These notices describe DoseTracker 1.0.0, currently in testing.
Who the app is for
DoseTracker is for adults aged 18 or older managing their own medicines or those of dependents whose information they are authorized to handle. A dependent profile does not make the app intended for a child to operate. You can use the app without an online account. The current app is free and has no ads, in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Health and medical limitations
DoseTracker is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. Consult a healthcare professional for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Follow your care team's instructions. You enter and verify medicine names, strengths, dose instructions and schedules; the app does not check prescriptions, recommend doses or determine whether a treatment is appropriate. Dose records reflect your entries and do not verify medicine intake. For emergencies, contact your local emergency service.
Reminders and stock
Automatic recurring reminders support ongoing daily or selected-weekday schedules starting today. Interval and bounded-course schedules support tracking only; as-needed medicines have no automatic reminders. Snoozes request one-time reminders. Notification permission and Android Alarms & reminders access affect scheduling, but do not guarantee delivery. System restrictions, notification channels, battery settings and device state may delay or prevent reminders. Maintain another dependable method for time-critical medication.
If you enable repeating reminder sound, the Android notification can ring repeatedly for up to two minutes. Stop ringing silences the alert without recording a dose; system behavior and settings still apply. An unanswered alert may clear at the timeout while the dose remains unrecorded. The app uses notification sound settings, not a guaranteed alarm-volume override.
Stock counts depend on the quantities, doses and refills you record. Low-stock warnings are shown inside the app; there are no background refill notifications or pharmacy ordering services. Verify actual supplies yourself.
Privacy and device security
Health records and profiles are stored in private device storage, without an online account or health-record sync. Optional error reports, diagnostic logs and performance traces are separate choices, all off by default. Enabling a category sends its limited technical reports to Sentry for VeriCode. Read the Privacy Policy for the actual information, consent controls, retention and deletion procedures.
Optional device authentication protects access to the app. It does not separately encrypt the health database. Anyone with an enrolled device credential may unlock it. Reminder details are shown by default; choose a more private notification setting before entering sensitive information if other people can see your device. System notification settings also apply.
Local data, exports and ending use
You may stop using DoseTracker at any time. Keep any records you need separately: preferences export does not back up profiles, medicines or dose history, and uninstalling, erasing or losing the device may remove local data.
Settings → Erase all data removes local app records, photos, settings and the app-lock flag, cancels reminders and disables diagnostics. If it fails or is interrupted, retry. It does not delete copies shared outside the app, support emails or reports already received by Sentry. Request deletion of those reports or emails at support@vericodestudio.com; see the Data deletion page. No remote account exists to close.
